  1. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)

The sequel to the Golden Globe-nominated and AFI-winning “Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring,” “The Two Towers” follows Frodo (Elijah Wood) and the Fellowship’s quest to destroy the Ring. Unique. Frodo and Sam (Sean Astin) discover they are being followed by the mysterious Gollum. Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen), the elven archer Legolas, and Gimli the Dwarf encounter the besieged kingdom of Rohan, where the once great king Theoden was under the death spell of Saruman.


2. City of God (2002)

In the slums of 1970s Rio de Janeiro, two young men choose different paths. Rocket (Phellipe Haagensen) is a budding photographer documenting the escalating drug-related violence in his neighborhood. José “Zé” Pequeno (Douglas Silva) is an ambitious drug dealer who uses Rocket and his photos to boost his reputation when a territorial war breaks out with his rival “Knockout Ned” (Leandro Firmino da Hora). The movie was shot in Rio’s poorest neighborhoods.

In this adaptation of the autobiography “The Pianist: The Extraordinary True Story of One Man’s Survival in Warsaw, 1939-1945”, Wladyslaw Szpilman (Adrien Brody), a pianist at a Polish Jewish radio station, learns that Warsaw’s increasingly war-torn world after World War II. starts. Szpilman is forced into the Warsaw ghetto, but is later separated from his family during Operation Reinhard. From this moment, until the prisoners in the concentration camp are released, Szpilman is hiding in various places among the ruins of Warsaw.
